FAQ

Does this set include the stainless steel litter box?

No. This listing includes one high-side plastic splash guard and one matching plastic litter scoop only. The stainless steel base pan is not included and must be purchased separately if needed.

Will this splash guard fit my existing 4FurBaby litter box?

It is designed to fit the 4FurBaby XXL stainless steel litter box base pan. If you have a different 4FurBaby model or an older litter box and are unsure about compatibility, confirm the model with customer service before ordering.

Will it fit an XXL litter box from another brand?

Compatibility with other brands cannot be guaranteed. “XXL” is not a universal size standard, and different brands may use different rim shapes and dimensions. This guard is specifically designed for the matching 4FurBaby XXL stainless steel base pan.

What material is the splash guard made from?

The splash guard is made from lightweight plastic. It is removable, making it easier to lift off when you need to empty or clean the stainless steel base pan.

What colors are available, and does the scoop match?

The set is available in Dark Gray, Light Gray, and Pink. Each splash guard comes with a plastic litter scoop in the same selected color.

Will the high sides completely stop litter and urine from getting out?

The high sides help contain litter kicked during digging and urine spray from cats that urinate toward the sides. However, the top is open and the front entry is lower, so no splash guard can guarantee that every grain of litter or every accident stays inside.

Is the front opening low enough for a senior cat?

The guard has a low front entry to make stepping in and out easier than climbing over a full-height wall. It may be suitable for senior cats and cats with reduced mobility, but comfort will depend on the individual cat’s size and condition.

How should I clean the splash guard and scoop?

Remove the guard from the base pan and wash both pieces with warm water and a mild pet-safe detergent. Use a soft cloth or sponge, rinse thoroughly, and dry them before reassembly. Avoid abrasive tools or harsh cleaners that could damage the plastic surface.
